Huxle

A daily colour hunt

One colour lands each day, and you go and find it — a wall, a jacket, a bruised peach. Your phone scores how close you got, on the phone. It takes a few minutes and then it's done.

How this studio works

Three claims you can check.

Not a manifesto. If any of these stops being true, it comes off the page.

Measured, not asserted

The colours were chosen with numbers.

Huxle's first palette was too hard to find. The replacement was scored against a 66-photo corpus before it shipped, and the result is written down as a trade rather than a clean win — more findable, slightly looser. Read the working →

On the device

The scoring never leaves your phone.

The code that decides how close your photo got to today's colour makes no network calls at all. Solo finds are stored on your device. A photo is uploaded only when you put one in front of your crew.

Nothing to sign up for

No account, no ads, no tracking.

You can play without an email or a password. There are no advertising identifiers, no third-party ad SDKs and no cross-app tracking — and the privacy policy is short enough to actually read. Read it →
